I actually wonder if Yelp has been review-bombed by just one or two people, considering they have 4.5 stars on google? This place is legit, and the owner is just a nice guy period, he doesn't lie to customers or exaggerate prices. I will let others vent and tell their story for sure, but I've never had an issue here the past 7 or 8 years. I've had my car here several times, and once when they couldn't fit me in they even recommended another local shop.

I’ve been going to ocean st for years. Brought 3 different cars there. It’s hard to find and trust a good shop these days. Ted and his team have always been real and worked with me. They have even taken money off my bill. What garage can you say will do that when it comes to saving the customer a buck!? I plan to continue to use them for business as long as I can. Great guys. Trust worthy shop! I highly recommend ocean street auto for all your car needs. They have never said they can’t do something! Absolute life savers when it comes to my vehicles. Thanks Ted!

I have been taking my Jeeps to Ted for years, he always gets me in and back on the road quick- He has gone above and beyond to work with my new extended warranty plan to help me save money. He always listens, and never makes me feel like I am asking stupid questions. Thanks Ted and crew!

I have been taking my car (a 2003 SUV that I love, and also has sentimental value) to Ocean Street Auto Repair for a few years. As you can imagine, I need trust a mechanic, and I also need a mechanic who is willing to keep an old car on the road. Ted and team do both. I have always been treated fairly, with clear communication. We balance keeping the car on the road with the inevitability that at some point, rust and age will prevent us from doing so. I am very fortunate to have found Ocean Street, and I recommend them to all my friends and family (and to you).

I can not say enough good things about Trapper and the other gentleman (I'm sorry that I didn't get your name) that were working today and dropped what they were doing to help me out with a sudden emergent situation with my car. Somehow my tire picked up a large piece of iron and of course it tore a hole in the tire too large to be repaired. Thankfully, it happened less than a block from the shop! Both men were so nice and Trapper quickly and efficiently dealt with my car's issue.

After taking my car to two other garages that were closer to my home in Saco, I felt completely misled by them and overwhelmed with the price point I was given. I ALMOST decided to buy a new car because the repairs didn’t seem worth it to me. I ended up bringing my vehicle here for a third opinion, and the gentleman at Ocean Street made me and my fiancé feel SO at ease when dealing with something super stressful. They confirmed our thoughts that the other garages were pretty much scamming us, told us exactly what was wrong - fixed the problem in less than a week, put a sticker on my car and I was on my way! I’ve never had a more pleasurable experience dealing with a repair. I will never take my vehicle anywhere else again!
