We are very pleased with this business! We needed a transmission in our vehicle and had taken it to a business that was scamming us completely, and way overpriced! Ocean Street towed the vehicle to their business and replaced the transmission for close to half the price the other place quoted. Also, the other place said at least 2 months, and Ocean Street had it completed in less than 3 weeks! The warranty on the new transmission was 3 times better/longer than the other place as well! We couldn't be happier to find an honest auto mechanic business. Very nice people, and great work!

I actually wonder if Yelp has been review-bombed by just one or two people, considering they have 4.5 stars on google? This place is legit, and the owner is just a nice guy period, he doesn't lie to customers or exaggerate prices. I will let others vent and tell their story for sure, but I've never had an issue here the past 7 or 8 years. I've had my car here several times, and once when they couldn't fit me in they even recommended another local shop.

I’ve been going to ocean st for years. Brought 3 different cars there. It’s hard to find and trust a good shop these days. Ted and his team have always been real and worked with me. They have even taken money off my bill. What garage can you say will do that when it comes to saving the customer a buck!? I plan to continue to use them for business as long as I can. Great guys. I have been taking my car (a 2003 SUV that I love, and also has sentimental value) to Ocean Street Auto Repair for a few years. As you can imagine, I need trust a mechanic, and I also need a mechanic who is willing to keep an old car on the road. Ted and team do both. I have always been treated fairly, with clear communication. We balance keeping the car on the road with the inevitability that at some point, rust and age will prevent us from doing so.
